Rent, the 30th Anniversary Concert

Streaming live from Broadway, members of the original cast of Rent and special guest alumni unite for one night only at a sold-out Richard Rodgers Theatre in New York City to benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.

This revolutionary celebration will have you feeling what it was like living in America at the end of the millennium — right from your living room.

The Gates Foundation will generously match donations received from every livestream ticket purchased, up to $525,600.

Original Rent cast members returning to the roles they made famous are Idina Menzel, Adam Pascal, Anthony Rapp, Daphne Rubin-Vega, Wilson Jermaine Heredia, Fredi Walker-Browne, Yassmin Alers, Gilles Chiasson, Shelley Dickinson, David Driver, Darius de Haas and Rodney Hicks.

Among the Rent alumni set to join them are Natalie Venetia Belcon, Adam Chanler-Berat, Nicholas Christopher, Merle Dandridge, Trey Ellett, Jordan Fisher, Renée Elise Goldsberry, Jose Llana, John Eric Parker, Jai Rodriguez, Antonique Smith, Ephraim Sykes and Aaron Tveit.

More of the cast will be announced in the coming weeks. Performers are subject to change.

Rent's original director, five-time Tony Award nominee Michael Greif, will return to helm the evening with original Music Supervisor Tim Weil and the original band.

Rent, the 30th Anniversary Concert will revive Jonathan Larson’s Tony Award- and Pulitzer Prize-winning rock musical in a gala concert celebration marking 30 years since the groundbreaking musical changed Broadway forever.

Buying this ticket will give you access to the livestream on Monday, October 26 at 8 pm Eastern, plus a 24-hour replay window following the performance.

The stream will open 1 hour before showtime for a special pre-show event.

We recommend logging in by 7 pm Eastern.
